Well, I asked Dustin if I could use his garage/shop for a day or two, and his expertise, to get a few well-needed things done to my Square.

If hes up for it, I'll splurge on some steaks and beer, and we can have a little get together at his house, on my next set of days off. Which is 7-10 days from now.

Glad the vr mk2 is running pertty again bud. thumright

That would be awesome. I hear there may be some newish members in town? It would be cool to meet up! And I wouldnt mind meeting the others members i have not met yet...steak sounds good too.

The MK2 is running needs an alignment soon and I have got to get that clutch fixed SOON.

Did you buy a clutch? I know a couple of non-dealer shop you could probably get it put in at.

Who would you have in mind? Cause I havent bought the clutch yet but I can. I thought I'd have to take my car to Edmonton o at least People's.

for a clutch job? Nah, thats not too crazy for a reputable shop to do. Although, Peoples does have a great rate. did they quote you on the job yet?

Its booked for tuesday for a rack boot. Maybe i can get the clutch done too. Im thinkin OEM on the VR...its all I can handle right now.

oem is more than enough. I did some very naughty things to my VR, the clutch was the least of its problems.

Oh yes...I'm going to phone on friday. Hopefully People's will have stock. I have been surprised before. That would be killer. Once the clutch is done, then its time for fun!! ...or paint....

OH! BTW I know a guy who bought an Auto Painting setup. I dont have all of the details but I know he worked for Don Golden for quite a few years. He's pretty good at it too!

Hey Daniel, welcome on.

We get together on random days, usually when Im on days off. But I'm sure Mitch and the other boys would be up for a meet.

We do plan on being a more active 'chapter' in gp next season for sure.

In fact we have been offered our own area at Drag Wars, if there's enough of us.

I am up for it every day you like after 5.30 pm is fine with me. I think it is a good idea to meet up like 1 a week like the people at a A&W. just let me know whats going on.
