hey guys i got a 98 jetta and i just started driving it its sat for 2 years and was writen off ive put it ball back together got it inspected and wen u get it inspected u have to get an allignment to for salvage inspec anyway since ive been driving it ive noticed it likes to pull hard to eaither side it wants wen i shift i have fat directional tires on i dunno if it effects the streeing that much so just curious if theres something i should look for or get it reallighned or maybe its just a shock comming from a mk5 gli :s

check over your front suspension to make sure there isnt something damaged that you missed... also check over the rear...
it is possible that they misaligned it the first time... you could also check your toe with a measuring tape while its on the ground... _________________ 1963 notchback

I'll bet your control arm bushings are hooped. They wont affect the alignment...but I'll bet they are soft and when you accelerate or brake it will shift the front end.
